Bacardi 8 Year Rum
When the Bacardi’s left Cuba, they lost everything but the recipe for making the world’s most awarded rum. The secret to blending Bacardi has been passed on from generation to generation, held only by the Maestros de Ron Bacardi. It’s their passion that makes Bacardi Rum taste the same today, as it did over 150 years ago. As rum is made, flavor notes may develop that are dominate and unwanted. Don Facundo Barcardi Masso, created a filtration process with a secret mix of charcoals made from tropical woods and coconut shells. These natural filters removed only the rogue notes allowing a whole new world of subtler, more elegant flavors to shine through. This secret combination of charcoals is still used today and known only to the Maestros de Ron Bacardi.
|Review||Each batch is made from a special section of barrel-aged reserve rums and aged for a minimum of 8 years, giving it a refined flavor with notes of prune, apricot, nutmeg and vanilla.|
