This 5th generation producer and family Domaine of 5,5 hectares dates back to 1850. The domaine which employs modern methods while at the same time respecting traditional methods with the goal of creating wine that makes the most of its "terroir" and the typicity of each vintage. The Seguin vineyards are perfectly positioned against the upslope of the hills above the estate. Gérard Seguin and his wife Chantal is a purist when it comes to making rich, velvety Pinot Noir and it should much he really loves what he does. His stellar reputation as a winemaker continue to grow each vintage. Traditional Vinification, of their 5.5 hectares of chalky soil and over 100 year old vines makes up the character of this amazing producer. He is also helped by his son Jerome who is assuming more responsibility. This is one of few producers in Gevrey that is becoming a master at integrating the right amount of oak to the wine and producing delicious early assessable wines that will stand the test of time.
